Fr. Fryar to speak at The University Series - March 30, 2017

The 2017 Lenten Season program is now online at http://theuniversityseries.org/

At Mass: How do we enter into the Mystery of our Faith? In the Old Testament temple, and in classical churches, worshipers approached the altar through courtyards and vestibules. How is the Holy Mass set apart from our secular world today?  How do we progress in the Sacred Liturgy to enter into the Mysterium Fidei?

Novena for Victoria Peters

From Vicki Peter’s son:  Please join in praying to Blesseds Jacinta and Francisco Marto during this 100th year anniversary of Fatima for the complete and Miraculous healing of Mom. (Victoria Peters).  A dear Priest friend suggested that we select someone that we want to be seen raised to Sainthood. We decided on these two blessed siblings and with it being the 100th year anniversary, what better time for them to be declared saints.  The family will be saying the following little novena every day until whatever "outcome" comes about. Gods will be done.  Let us storm Heaven together.

Novena

Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, I adore You profoundly with all the powers of my soul, and I thank You for the apparitions of the most Holy Virgin in Fatima which have made manifest to the world the treasures of her Immaculate Heart.  By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and through the intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary I implore You, if it should be for Your greater glory and the good of our souls to glorify in the sight of Your Holy Church Blesseds Francisco and Jacinta attaining for us, through their intercession, for the complete and miraculous healing of Victoria Peters, Amen.

1 Our Father, 1 Hail Mary, and 1 Glory be…
Our Lady of Fatima…Pray for us.
Blessed Jacinta Marto…Pray for us.
Blessed Francisco Marto…Pray for us.

Amen

For unto us a Child is born!

Isaiah 9:6  For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given, and the government shall be upon His shoulder:  and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.

Isaiah 40:1  Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.  Speak ye comfort to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned.  The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.  Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill made low, the crooked straight, and the rough places plain.
